Pastor Billy Joe Walker

 

Bro. Billy Joe Walker was officiated as pastor of the New Testament Church in the year of 1998 upon the home-going of Bro. Bill Jones. Pastor Walker a spirit-filled, energetic leader who has given his life to our Lord and Saviour; he walk uprightly before the Lord in his personal life while seeking the mind of God on behalf of the congregation. His main purpose is to be faithful in the exposition of Scripture so that the congregation may grow in their understanding and application of the Word of God.As an Associate Minister, Bro Billy Walker served as a right hand to the senior pastor and assisted in carrying out the ministry of the church which included assuming the pastoral role in senior pastor’s absence.His first responsible within the Church of the New Testament was to become a true Christian believing and depending on the Jesus Christ. He decided his work within the church would begin as a custodian in which he was responsible for the appearance, cleanliness, maintenance and security of the premises.

True Repentance

Jesus warned, “Unless you repent you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3, 5). The only way to escape the wrath of God is by genuine repentance.

 

Mission

Church of The New Testament is a fellowship of believers that purpose to know God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to equip believers through discipleship. Showing God's love, we strive to reach a hungry world with Jesus Christ through obedience to the Great Commission.
